2009.11.17 Yandex introduced “Snejinsk” into the main searching. And judging by the general mood quite many are anxious of search results and some even hope for backoff.

Yandex announced the available testing version of search program “Snejinsk” a week before. The new searching takes account of some hundreds of search parameters for one document. On Ya.ru, the club Yandex.Search, Alexander Sadovsky, the head of web-searching department, made the next communication: “if watch not one but thousands responses there are a lot of examples where the quality of reply has increased appreciably. The integrated picture is that the search issue is becoming more relevant”.

Prudnikov Vadim, our specialist of marketing in the Internet, expressed his view and observation:

— Even when we were testing the new range formula on biki.yandex.ru, it was noticed that the sites with quality back links have priority. That companies which still choose “gray” methods of advance (for example purchases links) are going on losing theirs positions. Besides, if analyze sites on the first positions of issue lists we can say that the age of domain is important.

In the official release of Yandex with announce of testing “Snejinsk” it was said: “we introduced extra region factors based on interest of users to documents”. It lets to suppose that data of Yandex.Metrika are used. In the official answer of Yandex about the starting of “Snejinsk” on www.yandex.ru it is reported: “it is the first time we use the new algorithm of machine learning MatrixNet, it enables to increase the number of parameters which are allowed for. It improved the whole searching”. It is too early to do any final conclusion, indexation of sites and the complete renewal of the information on Yandex servers will take about three weeks and only after it the issue lists will come right.
